(01) — The question
How do you give a natural stone house the presence of a gallery, so that it sells character rather than square metres?
(02) — The answer

STONIQ curates more than a thousand slabs of marble and natural stone, presented in a Stone Gallery in Leerdam and an Experience Center in Amsterdam. Their promise was clear from the start: we don't sell products, but character, exclusivity and the art of nature. Berries Agency built the identity to carry exactly that.

A name with three layers

STON for stone, the earth's own art. NIQ for unique, because no two slabs are alike. And IQ, for the intelligence of nature. Together they became the tagline: The Art of Nature.

Drawn from the stone

The palette takes its names and tones from the material itself: Earth Vein, Obsidian Depth, Marble Mist, Onyx Black and Alabaster White. Typography stays quiet in Helvetica, so the stone does the talking. The signature element is a barcode-like stripe pattern, derived from the veins and the spacing of marble slabs in the warehouse.

From storefront to sample label

The identity was carried through every touchpoint: storefront posters, shopping bags, a marble care kit, sample boxes and labels, packing tape, business cards, merchandise and a tablebook for the price list. One system, from the first look through the window to the sample a client takes home.
