POBA brings natural, handmade pieces into modern homes: furniture, ceramics and objects, all made in India by hand. The challenge was the market. The brand had to be Europe-proof: an international, well-sourced look that sits naturally next to the best of European design, without ever hiding where the work comes from.
Berries Agency created the brand identity and designed the collection.
International look, Indian hands
We let the craftsmanship be the story and kept everything around it calm and universal. No folklore, no clichés: a restrained frame that lets the material, the texture and the hand of the maker speak for themselves. Made in India becomes a mark of quality, not a label.
A collection for European homes
The collection was designed with the same balance: Indian materials and techniques, shaped into pieces that fit a European interior. Natural wood, stone, clay and glass in simple, honest forms, made to be lived with rather than looked at.
Quiet, with a sophisticated edge
The wordmark is light and graceful, a timeless symbol with a refined edge. Futura carries the type in light and book, without capitals. The palette moves from white sand and urban stone to slate taupe and charcoal: sun-kissed warmth against metropolitan cool. Four values guide every choice: pure, original, bespoke and authentic.
Curated with care
The identity goes all the way to the product: packshots, mood and close-up photography, styling do's and don'ts, and a system of hangtags and stickers for every piece that leaves the warehouse. From the bag to the packing tape, POBA looks like it could have come from anywhere, and is proud of exactly where it comes from.
